Webinar Summary:

The organic inspector plays a unique role in verifying traceability in the supply chain, especially when organic ingredients or products are sourced from uncertified handling operations. In this one-hour webinar, Silke Fuchshofen will provide valuable on-the-ground perspective about how to assess risk, meaningfully verify operators’ procedures for purchasing and receiving, and gain a clear picture of the entire audit trail. The speaker will provide eye-opening examples of lessons learned through years of experience inspecting complex handling operations, and she will answer questions from the audience.

Silke Fuchshofen is an organic inspector, trainer, and consultant with experience in a variety of complex handling activities. She has been dedicated to organic food and farming since 1985 and has taken a special interest in audit trail verification and its role in preserving organic integrity.
