Section N, Producer Group Operations

On September 14, 2023, Beth Rota (QCS) facilitated a discussion of how the SOE rule affects producer group (or grower group) operations. This is an area of interest, in particular, for certifiers who may have limited experience in certifying producer groups, but are interested in learning more. The group discussed details of producer group certification, as well as areas where the EU and US regulations may differ. This discussion did not cover the lawsuit that has been filed regarding this section of SOE, as it took place before that suit was filed.
