Lunch & Learn Early Edition: Current revision of the EU Organic Regulation: how will this impact equivalency agreements?

Following the EU Court case Herbaria of October 2024, the EU Institutions decided to reopen the Basic Act of the EU Organic Regulation in September 2025. The EU Commission made its proposal public on 16.12.2025. The work of this revision is in progress and the legislative process will take place in 2026.

EOCC, the European Organic Certifiers Council, would like to raise awareness among ACA members of the possible impacts on Control Bodies located in countries with an equivalency agreement with the EU.
